Montserrat Cano | Digital marketing, Product and Project Management Consultant

Montserrat Cano is a seasoned, all-round digital marketer and project manager who specialises in integrating the digital marketing areas to maximise marketing and business results. Having started in SEO and content almost back in the dark ages of digital, her core skill is SEO, as well as PPC,CRM/ email and social media strategy and execution. Her focus and passion is on solving issues and building internal processes to handle and prevent them using data. Being bilingual English-Spanish, she has worked with brands operating in the UK and internationally in a range of niches, such as ecommerce, legal, membership, public sector, technology or publishing. She has also spoken at the eCommerce Expo and Measurecamp. In her spare time, she mentors other SEO/ digital professionals to help make the industry stronger.

Justin is a social media and digital crisis communications specialist with more than 10 years’ experience leading social media, PR and digital communications in Government and the public sector, both in the UK and overseas. A regular keynote speaker at major social media conferences across the UK and Europe, Justin is the Chairperson for the UK’s largest public sector social media and crisis communications conference series, runs Manchester’s fastest growing social media industry event series (SocialMCR), and judges some of the world’s biggest industry awards. Justin runs social media consulting firm, JustSocial, where he provides strategic counsel and operational advice to some of the world’s biggest brands. David Crawford has worked for the last 25 years in marketing and digital agencies of all shapes and sizes. He was most recently Managing Director of Branded3, one of the UK’s leading search agencies, and has also held senior positions at McCann, BJL and twenty-six. He has worked directly with clients such as American Airlines, UPS and Bentley as well as help a couple of tech start-ups develop and deliver their digital & marketing strategies. He now works with creative, digital and tech agencies as a Non-Exec Director, Board Advisor and Coach.

Philip Crothers | Head of SEO & Performance Content | Starcom Performics

Phil is Head of SEO & Performance Content at Starcom Performics, part of the Publicis Media Groupe, leading a global team who work with brands such as Samsung, Procter & Gamble, and Domino's. Having 10+ years’ experience in content, SEO, and web design, his primary focus is helping organisations understand how consumer insights can inform their content decisions and how that content can be accountable to brand spend.

Lyndsey Evans | FOUNDER | COLLABORATIVE FOLKS

Lyndsey founded Collaborative Folks, a PR & Content consultancy, after 20+ years working both agency side and in-house across public relations, content marketing and brand strategy. Previously she headed up comms at retailers AO.com and Iceland Foods, as well as worked at some of the north west’s biggest agencies. Lyndsey’s experience spans 70+ brands across 20 sectors and includes Bentley Motors, Gumtree, Very, Specsavers, Marks & Spencer, CarFinance 247, Findel Education and Shepherd Group. At AO.com, Lyndsey transformed the brand's reputation from a little-known online white goods specialist to one of the most talked about retailers in the last five years. She also introduced the company’s first content marketing strategy bringing its search rankings back to page 1 from page 100 following a Google algorithmic penalty. Lyndsey has won many industry awards and in 2017 was named a top 50 in-house communicator in the north by Prolific North.

Samantha Fay | Senior Vice President - Global Brand Strategy | Guinness World Records

Samantha is Guinness World Records’ SVP of Global Brand Strategy and is responsible for the company’s new product development and strategic partnerships. Since joining the company in 2003, she has helped transform the company from a legacy publisher into a multi-platform, IP brand. She also heads up the innovation division, The Records Lab, developing creative campaigns to take the world’s best-known brands to new, record-breaking heights. Her favourite moments over the years have included presenting Michael Jackson with his certificates, meeting the Queen and sharing the lawn at the White House with Michelle Obama.

Dee Goldstraw | SENIOR LECTURER | Manchester Metropolitan University

A senior lecturer in marketing and digital communications at Manchester Metropolitan University, Dee specialist area is content marketing, where she teaches across a number of content strategy units. Reading for her PhD has taken her research into the area of exploring online influencers, in particular on Instagram, and their impact on women. A PR professional for more than 15 years, Dee has worked in a mixture of PR, digital marketing and events agencies across the north of the UK as well as working freelance.

Graham Goodkind | Founder & Chairman | Frank PR

Graham set up Frank in 2000 and built it into one of the most legendary, creative and award-winning agencies in the UK PR industry. He also established a Frank in Sydney, Australia, which has made a big impact down under. In addition to his role chairing Frank, he combines this with other business interests having ‘gone plural’ at the start of 2018. As a board advisor at corporate finance boutique Green Square, he works with agency owners on their exit strategies, having had the experience of selling Frank in 2007. He is also Chairman of Noise Media Group, a social media publishing company with the largest audience of students in the UK. He sits on the board of Shift, a not-for-profit organisation that builds social businesses to solve social problems, and Camden Town Unlimited, the business improvement district for Camden. Graham is also a Dutch Uncle (a new type of business advisor who cuts through the bullshit to offer straight-to-the-point advice without pulling any punches) to several other marketing services agencies as well as being an early stage investor in a few start-ups and new ventures.
